In this workshop, we will make a stool out of ash wood with a woven seat. Class will make use of the table saw, dado blades, router table and mortising tools and more to create the components and build the stool using bridle joints, floating tenons and half lap joints. Once we’ve sanded and assembled our stool, we will use the traditional method of Danish cord weaving to weave our seats with rope. This is where you’ll get to bring a pop of color to your build, and make your design your own! Prior woodworking experience is strongly encouraged.

Additional Information:
Registration will close one month prior to the start of class.
Expect to spend about another $65 on rope. Directions for purchasing rope in the color of your choice will be provided a month ahead of class.
