Policies

Please take a moment to carefully review our registration and refund policies. We encourage you to register as early as possible to secure your spot in the class. Class sizes are limited, and some classes may fill several weeks in advance. Please be aware that registration often closes a week or more before the start date to allow time for procuring necessary materials and supplies.

Student Withdrawal Policy

If you need to withdraw from a class, please notify Sawtooth at least 14 days prior to the class start date. With sufficient notice, we can offer a refund minus a $20 processing fee.

If you withdraw less than 14 days before the class begins, your tuition will be forfeited. As a nonprofit with limited resources, we carefully plan classes, purchase supplies, and coordinate staffing based on registration numbers. Last-minute cancellations and transfers make it difficult to allocate resources effectively and can impact the experience for all students, which is why we must enforce these fees.

If your withdrawal is due to extenuating circumstances, you may contact the Director of the relevant studio, and they will review your case on an individual basis.

Sawtooth Cancellations

In the event that Sawtooth needs to cancel, combine, or reschedule a class for any reason, all registered participants will be notified by email as soon as possible. You will be offered the option to transfer to another class or obtain a full refund. Please note, however, that we cannot be responsible for non-refundable travel or accommodation expenses.

Class Credits

We no longer offer class credit as we have transitioned website and registration systems. All valid class credit currently accumulated will be honored through the original expiration date. You must call or email registrar@sawtooth.org to redeem your credit. Class credit can be used for future class registrations or membership. Credits cannot be redeemed for cash. If you wish to transfer credits to another student, please notify Sawtooth by emailing registrar@sawtooth.org. The original expiration date will still apply to any transferred credits. You may also choose to donate your credits to Sawtooth's scholarship funds.

Memberships

Memberships are non-refundable.

Camp Sawtooth Registration Policies

As a nonprofit with limited resources, we carefully plan classes, purchase supplies, and coordinate staffing based on registration numbers. Last-minute cancellations and transfers make it difficult to allocate resources effectively and can impact the experience for all campers.

Transfers between Camp classes before the cutoff date will incur a $20 fee, regardless of reason. The 2027 cutoff date will be announced when Camp Sawtooth 2027 registration opens. Transfers after this date will not be honored. No refunds are available after this date. To withdraw from a class, contact our Registrar at registrar@sawtooth.org or 336-723-7395.

During Camp, classes may be canceled or combined based on enrollment, and instructors may change. Participants will be notified by email of any cancellations and credited accordingly.

Parents and guardians must review the Rules + Consequences with their children before Camp begins. Refunds will not be issued for disciplinary removals. See full guidelines at here.

Payment

Full payment is due upon registration. Online registration is simple and easy, and our payment processing platform offers built-in PCI compliance, encryption, and fraud protection. Your information is safe with us.

For in-person payments, checks, cash, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX) are accepted. A $25 fee will be charged for returned checks.

Register Online

Please log in or create an account to register and pay for classes. If you want to become a member and enjoy a discount on course fees, purchase your membership first to confirm your discount is applied.

Register in Person

Our front desk is available for registration assistance from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays. Our offices are closed on Sunday.

Registration fees may be paid using a credit card, check, or cash.
