Build a small, two tiered side table in your choice of either walnut or cherry wood. Students with prior furniture making experience will learn to make and use templates to create graceful curves and employ simple joinery techniques with machines to create the elegant profile of this table. Complete the project with a soft routed edge, reminiscent of the style of mid 20th century furniture. Appropriate wood finishes will be discussed, but any application of finishes will take place outside of class. Intermediate woodworking experience is required.
Registration will close 1 week prior to the start of class.
