Introduction to Weaving
This is a perfect class for novice weavers or one-time weavers hoping to refresh their skills. The fundamentals of measuring yarn for the loom as well as “dressing” or prepping the loom for weaving will be covered. Learning how a floor loom works, students will then create a woven sampler of plain weave and plain weave enhancement techniques as well as a myriad of twill weaves while experimenting with a variety of fibers and colors.
