This playful, project-based workshop introduces young students to the world of coding in a fun and accessible way using Scratch. Over the course of 4 weeks, this course helps students build their own games, interactive stories, and animations while learning key problem-solving and logic skills. Through live demonstrations and guided activities, students will explore how to move characters, create sound effects, and design their own interactive projects. The beauty of Scratch is its flexibility—students can bring their own ideas, create custom characters, and remix their projects as they grow. Along the way, they’ll develop creative confidence and coding fluency in a supportive, step-by-step environment. Students will leave the workshop with completed projects they can proudly share with friends and family. Both classes will be held in person at Sawtooth School.
