213 A. Beginning and Intermediate Handbuilding
Explore the creative possibilities of clay without using a potter’s wheel. This class will focus on various slab building techniques to create ceramics vessels. Pinching and coiling techniques will be addressed for making additional decorative elements on the vessels. Students with experience can refine their skills while exploring new forms and design options. Decorating and glazing techniques will also be explored.
