An interactive exhibition for the whole family!
Sawtooth School for Visual Art proudly presents Here Come the Puppets, an exhibition in the school’s Eleanor and Egbert Davis Gallery from Saturday, June 8 through Saturday, July 20, 2024.
A gallery show in “three acts,” Sawtooth’s lively exhibition features artworks on display from various decades and cultures, a hands-on makerspace for all ages, along with workshops and activities culminating in a puppet-filled parade with the Library on July 20, 2024.
This show is presented in collaboration with the Forsyth County Public Library to encourage learning, creativity, and literacy skills through summer reading and the wonderful world of puppetry arts.
Sawtooth’s Eleanor and Egbert Davis Gallery is open to the public, and admission is free. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sawtooth thanks the many community partners who helped to make this programming possible: the exhibiting artists, Terry Schupbach-Gordon, the Forsyth County Public Library, the Art SHAC, Kaleideum, GreeNest, Bookmarks, and Little Theatre of Winston-Salem.
