Alice Shupe

I have been felting with wool and other natural fibers for almost ten years. I love the tactile quality of felting, the many textures and effects that can be achieved with different fibers and the surprise with each project as the wool entangles and shrinks. I primarily use wet felting techniques but will often embellish my work with needle felting and embroidery. As with any artistic endeavor, mine has been a journey of experimenting and learning. I am thankful for the generous spirits of other fiber artists who have shared their gifts and enabled me to grow as a fiber artist and teacher.
