Since 1945, Sawtooth has been dedicated to providing hands-on, high-quality visual art experiences for students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Our nonprofit community art school has served as a creative hub for the region, helping individuals discover their passions and connecting them with others for eighty years.

Tuition and class fees only cover about half of our necessary expenses, and we rely on gifts from generous community members like you to continue our work, provide more opportunities, and strengthen our outreach efforts.

SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT

Our Scholarship Funds include:

• The Joanne Vernon Scholarship Fund, named to honor the legacy of late Sawtooth Executive Director JoAnne Vernon. This general scholarship fund provides tuition to children and adults interested in participating in Sawtooth’s classes and workshops.

• The Warren Moyer Youth Scholarship Fund, named for Sawtooth’s former Ceramics Director in honor of his passion for the arts and his commitment to youth experiencing disadvantages in the community.

• The Bealle Family Scholarship Fund for Seniors, established by Beth Bealle in honor of her parents, LoAnne and Burnitt Bealle. This fund provides scholarships for students aged 60 and older.

In addition to one-time or recurring donations, there are many other ways to support Sawtooth and positively impact our creative community.
