The North Carolina Black Repertory Company (NC Black Rep) reveals its storied archives to revive the spirited costumes from a vast 45-year performance Repertory. Sacred Threads showcases one-of-a-kind costumes, performance ephemera, and visual artworks, offering a unique glimpse into NC Black Rep’s impactful performing arts history. Sawtooth School for Visual Art is proud to host this collaborative exhibition to celebrate NC Black Rep’s 45th anniversary and the 2024 International Black Theatre Festival.
