Travel through time as we explore four major art periods in this mixed media painting
class! Each week, students will learn about different periods of art and the types of paintings created during that time. Using acrylic, gouache, and watercolor paints, students will create paleolithic cave paintings, Renaissance still lifes, Impressionistic landscapes, and funky, modern pop art!
We will also learn about famous artists, methods, and tools of each period we travel through.
