Classic Folk Toys
Learn to create classic Folk toys for the kids in your life (or your inner child!) from everyday odds and ends. Inspired by his Grandma Honey's toyshop, where buttons and spools took on the quality of magic, Dane Snodgrass will teach you to make a spool tractor and a squeeze acrobat. Class will cover the use of hand tools and some machines to design and cut out your acrobat and then use ubiquitous materials like matches, rubber bands and string to construct the toys and imbue them with the magic of movement. No experience necessary.
Additional Information:
- A Material fee of $15 will be added to your total at check out
- Enrollment is open to students age 18+
- Registration will close one week prior to the start date of the class
- Class will break for lunch around mid day on all full day workshops
