Power Tool Basics
Start at the very beginning and get yourself acquainted with handheld power tools! This rapid-fire workshop will cover drills, drivers, and circular saws. Learn to use these tools safely and effectively for any DIY project on your to do list, from a simple bench for sitting by the fire pit to a whole chicken coop. The objective of class will be to build a simple bench from hardware store materials. Expect to get plenty of hands-on practice with each tool, as well as a crash course on measuring and marking tools. No experience necessary.
Additional Information:
- A $25 materials fee will be added to the total class fee at checkout.
- Registration will close one week prior to the start of class.
- Enrollment is open to students ages 18 and up.
- Class will take a 1/2 hour lunch break around mid day.
