Fox Wedge Stool
Design and construct a three-legged stool with hidden fox wedge tenons. Gain experience with both machine and hand tools. We will cover the use of the band saw for creating tapered legs, using a tenon cutter to make quick and easy round tenons, and constructing a sturdy and sleek seat. Students will be encouraged to think creatively about how they can make their project unique with different proportions to explore for their stool, or with the use of color. Prior woodworking experience will be helpful, but is not required.
