Design and Build: Band Saw Boxes
Design and create a bandsaw box! These neat wooden boxes are cut in parts from one big block of wood and reassembled like a puzzle. Develop your band saw skills and learn how to make the most of this versatile shop tool. We will cover resawing and cutting sharp curves with no waste material or relief cuts as well as mixing and using milk paints and finishing the wood to show off it's natural beauty. Expect to leave class with a truly unique box with a removable drawer or compartment. Previous woodworking experience will be helpful but is not required.
Additional Information:
- A $25 materials fee will be added to the total class fee at checkout
- Registration will close one week prior to the start of class to allow adequate time for material sourcing
- This class is open to students ages 16 and up.
