Gemstone Faceting One-Day Workshop
Faceting is the art and skill of taking a rough piece of gemstone and
creating a stone with flat planes (facets) suitable for jewelry. Learn to use a Raytech Shaw faceting machine to grind and polish precision facets on a transparent gemstone. You’ll proceed step-by-step to the completion of a simple faceted stone. Brian will show you lots of tips and tricks learned over his years as a professional stonecutter, to help make your introduction to faceting a sparkling success. You’ll love the small class size and quality equipment. All materials are included and you keep your faceted stone! (age 14 to adult)
