Three Legged Stool
Build a timeless hardwood stool while learning the fundamentals of furniture making. In this two-day workshop, students will transform rough lumber into a beautiful, functional three-legged stool using traditional woodworking techniques using both hand and power tools. Along the way, you’ll learn how to shape components, drill accurate compound angles, fit and assemble wedged mortise-and-tenon joints, and prepare your project for a durable finish. The three-legged stool is a classic woodworking project because it introduces many of the core skills found in chair and furniture construction while remaining approachable for beginners. Whether you’re new to woodworking or looking to strengthen your foundational skills, you’ll leave with a handcrafted stool built to last and the confidence to apply these techniques to future projects.
Registration closes one week prior to the start of class.
