Taste of Art: Woven Bark Sheath

Make a sheath for your knives, awls, engraving tools, etc. We’ll use cedar and willow bark to create custom sheaths for your tools. Bring any flat tool no longer than 4” and no wider than 1” and we will weave a sheath to perfectly fit. We will discuss harvesting techniques and ideal materials. Students will have the opportunity to make up to two sheaths in class. No experience necessary.
