Starting with hand tools, you will learn to measure, mark, and cut simple half lap joinery. From there you will dive into milling and dimensioning lumber, have a crash course on table saw safety, and get a chance to explore your creative side at the band saw by making a cutting board of your own design with the material you have milled. The final project, a simple trivet, will have you learning basic joinery with machines.
