Steven Parker is a potter born and raised in North Carolina. He studied history, religious studies, and ceramics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After college, he apprenticed with Daniel Johnston and completed a short-term apprenticeship with Mark Hewitt. Now based in Greensboro, Steven teaches classes at the Art Alliance and does production work for various potteries in the Seagrove area. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, painting, and tending his garden.
