COVID-19 UPDATE
Dear Sawtooth Community,
Thank you for your support and understanding of our protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. Continuing in full transparency and a desire to exercise extreme caution, I have some news to share with you. One of our staff members has been exposed to COVID-19 by a family member but has tested negative themselves for the virus. Since learning of their exposure, they have not returned to work and will be out until it is safe to do so. All involved are doing well at this time.
We are continuing to follow all CDC guidelines in determining next steps and will keep you updated with any changes.
In light of this news and the increase of cases in our area, we have decided to postpone our Not Quite Perfect Pottery Sale that was scheduled for this coming Saturday, 10/17. This was a difficult decision. Our staff has worked tirelessly to make this a safe and successful event but my conscience will not allow me to move forward with it at this time. We do plan to reschedule for spring of 2021 and hope that you will join us at that time.
It is difficult to postpone our Not Quite Perfect Pottery Sale, one of four annual fundraising events that helps us sustain our mission. Registration fees generate only a portion of the funds we need to offer classes and workshops, outreach programs, and special exhibits and events throughout the year. In your giving this year, I ask that you remember Sawtooth. It is through
continued support from our donors, members, and community that we have been able to provide this unique space to create for 75 years.
Take good care and please stay in touch.
Warmly,
Amy
