Kelsey Brown is a fiber artist and educator, and is the co-owner of the Village Fabric Shop in Reynolda Village, which reopened recently with a focus on sustainable fibers and apparel fabrics. Kelsey teaches sewing, natural dyes, and weaving here at Sawtooth.

Passionate about sustainable materials, she creates her own natural dyes and often recycled or reclaimed materials show up in her weaving. Kelsey’s most recent educational journey took her to Guatemala to work with traditional back strap weavers and shoemakers using handwoven fabrics.
