Visiting Artist Workshop

Sawtooth brings nationally and internationally recognized artists to our studios in Winston-Salem throughout the year for one-of-a-kind experiences that build upon our mission and spark creativity in our community.

Our Visiting Artists share distinctive methods, approaches, and materials not typically covered in our regular classes, and oftentimes their workshops can serve as great introductions to in-depth offerings at other celebrated craft schools across the country.

This program is made possible thanks to generous donations to the Billy McClain Visiting Artist Fund, which honors the memory and legacy of the beloved artist and influential member of Sawtooth’s community.
