Print + Books

Sawtooth offers classes and workshops in a variety of printmaking techniques, including monoprint, drypoint, linoleum, woodcut, letterpress, screenprinting, and etching, for all ages and skill levels. We take pride in being one of the few community-based art schools in North Carolina that offers letterpress Open Studio. Our facility is outfitted with specialized equipment, including three etching presses, a screenprint exposure unit, and a Vandercook 3 letterpress, affectionately known as “The Empress.” If you’re looking to work on your own projects or meet fellow printmakers, be sure to check out our Open Studio hours or Community Print Nights!
